Online poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up chips even with your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
