Phil Ivey has been labeled as the number one poker player on the planet by quite a few of the top pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to New Jersey before his first birthday. His grandpa taught Phil one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From that point on, he was addicted to poker and wished to learn anything he possibly could about the game. Ivey credits his achievements to hard work and an undying passion for poker. Phil says that he’s picking up skills every single day and is incredibly abashed about his success. He admits to making mistakes every single game of poker and always aspires to get better.

Despite the fact that Ivey has come first in some big-time tournaments, he likes destroying cash games on a regular basis.
